Description
The pathway leading to Kilchurn Castle, Argyll and Bute, Scottish Highlands, Scotland, UK.
.....
Kilchurn Castle, situated on the northeastern shore of Loch Awe in Argyll and Bute, Scotland, is a picturesque ruin steeped in history. Built in the mid-15th century by Sir Colin Campbell, it served as the stronghold of the Campbell clan for centuries. Its strategic location provided a vantage point over the surrounding landscape, making it a formidable fortress. Over time, the castle underwent several expansions and modifications before falling into disrepair in the 18th century. Despite its dilapidated state, Kilchurn Castle remains a popular tourist attraction, offering visitors a glimpse into Scotland's rich medieval past and stunning Highland scenery.

Beautiful shot beautifully processed. It really creates a solemn mood when looking at it. I voted for it.
